For Insurance of Property in Europe, we are able to insure domestic property
in France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Eire, Germany, Belguim, Holland,
Denmark, Sweden, Malta and Cyprus. The policy is underwritten at Lloyds.
Premiums are payable in sterling and the policy is in English.
We can insure Buildings and Contents and your Liability to the Public
is automatically covered. Property can be left unoccupied for long periods
and sub-let to tenants.
The major risks covered are: Theft; Malicious Damage; Fire; Flood; Burst
Pipes;
Storm; Impact with road vehicles; Subsidence; Landslip; Heave; Earthquake.
The normal excess is £50.00 rising to £100.00 if the property
has been left unoccupied for 21 days or more when the claim occurs.
Subsidence, Landslip, Heave and Earthquake have a £1,000 excess.
