Organisations connected with Emerald Heights in Mauritius attended a four-day sales and marketing creativity marathon on the Indian Ocean Island recently. 30 representatives attended the conference to discuss the development now under construction in the Mont Blanc Valley.
When it is finished Emerald Heights will be fully managed by Mason Forbes.
Owners can choose to opt into the rental pool if required and each lease will be individual. There is no obligation to be part of the rental pool which means each owner has total flexibility. The management will include global marketing of the residences via international tour operators and spa holidays specialists and the day to day running of the units.
Lord Stephen Aldridge, Chief Executive of Emerald Heights, organised a full agenda for the conference ranging from detailed examination of the property designs and specifications to the expansion of the global marketing initiative incorporating India, China, Russia and the Middle East to augment the campaigns running in Europe and South Africa.
There were presentations from Gibbs (Mauritius) Ltd., the main architectural, engineering and project management practice driving this project; Helm Godfrey, the Guernsey based fund manager who provide tax efficient purchase routes for property investment buyers at the Emerald Heights project, and meetings with MPTA, the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority.
Joining the Emerald Heights team were UK representatives from Erna Low Property and Savills who look after the international sales; Jackie Biggin Media who has developed the Emerald Heights brand, delivered marketing tools and global advertising, and Financial Dynamics PR from South Africa. Mason Forbes, the Mauritian property sales agency retained locally by Emerald Heights.
“Emerald Heights has in just six months moved from a concept on the desk to a fully branded product, with show house almost completed, and infrastructure under construction,” reported Aldridge.
“The teams have worked miracles in the time and I wanted to bond them together as a contiguous, single world-class team. This strength will guarantee our continued success in this challenging worldwide market – it was a great gathering and we covered twice as much ground as I expected. We will do it again.”
