Fly to Let investors with properties close to the six golf courses in the countries which have announced their intention to bid to host the 2018 Ryder Cup have to wait until 2011 for the final decision to be made.

They will all be hoping to benefit from the increased rental opportunities generated by the prestigious golf event. The bidding nations include Portugal, France, Germany, Holland, Spain and Sweden.

HRH Prince Edward the Earl of Essex, recently made an official visit to Portugal’s Vilamoura in the Algarve, in the capacity of representing the Duke of Edinburgh charity, and as a result received the keys to an apartment as a donation to the charity from the ‘Residences’ resort, a project conceived by the Andre Jordan Development Group.

It overlooks the Victoria Golf course where the Duke of Edinburgh Cup Qualifier charity golf event was taking place at the time of his visit.

In Vale do Lobo the company has a three bedroom villa close to the Ocean Golf Course in the Central Algarve. It is priced at €2,200,000.

Also in Central Algarve in the Lakeside Village close to the Quinta do Lago golf course is a four bedroom detached house within walking distance of the lake and the beach. The price is only available on application.
