New Year sales of airline tickets to America and Malaysia will encourage Fly to Let customers looking to get away to these destinations.
American Airlines is selling tickets from £288. Prices are valid for bookings made by 26 January 2010, and the fares are valid for travel between 6 January – 25 March, 12 April – 30 June and again between 22 August – 30 November.
Graham Bell, Director of Sales UK & Ireland, American Airlines, said: “These are some of the best fares the market has seen in recent months and with the pound also increasing in value against the dollar, there really hasn’t been a better time to visit.’
Malaysia Airlines, voted ‘Asia’s Leading Airline’ at the 2009 World Travel Awards, has been holding a special sale to mark the new decade.
The airline is offering all-inclusive fares to the whole of South East Asia from £519 return and Australasia from £639 return, for travel from 15 April to 31 May 2010.
There are also be special fares available for travel to Malaysia and South East Asia from £559, from 15 January to 26 March, 4 to 14 April, 1 to 30 June and 1 September to 30 November 2010.
Malaysia Airlines is also offering a special fare to Australia and New Zealand from £689 return. This fare will be available for travel from London to Perth from 1 February and to the rest of Australia and New Zealand from 15 March to 14 April, 1 to 30 June and 1 September to 30 November 2010. These special fares can only be purchased up to 18 January 2010.
British Airways is also offering a selection of cut-price fares to worldwide destinations including Australia, Bermuda, the Caribbean, the Far East, Mauritius, the Maldives, the Middle East, North and South Africa, North and South America and various European destinations.
Flights to New York start from £299 (saving £63); Los Angeles from £389 (saving £61) or Orlando from £399 (saving £32).
For winter-sun getaways the airline has Dubai from £325 (saving £69); Montego Bay from £399 (saving £227); Sydney from £669 (saving £146) and Buenos Aires from £629 (saving £245). Or closer to home, skiers and snowboarders can head to Geneva where flights cost from £39 (one-way) or Zurich cost from £50 (one-way).
